Ashok Jain, CEO
IntruGuard Devices, Inc.
A Silicon Valley veteran, Ashok brings to IntruGuard many years of experience
with successful networking and security startups. Ashok was the founder and
CEO of Internet Devices. Inc., a developer of high-performance, data policy
management systems, and now a division of Alcatel. Prior to Internet Devices,
Ashok co-founded NexGen Microsystems Inc., a developer of high-performance
microprocessors that was acquired by Advanced Micro Devices in 1995. Ashok
holds an MS degree in Computer Technology from IIT New Delhi.
Anson Chen
Corporate Vice President, Enterprise Mobility, Motorola
Anson Chen is leading the effort to create better software technology for Motorola. Anson brings proven experience at Juniper/Netscreen and at Cisco, where his responsibilities included overseeing the research and development of security products and network management solutions. At Motorola, his leadership is crucial to the advancement of Seamless Mobility. Prior to joining Motorola, Anson served
as Vice President of Research and Development for Netscreen/Juniper's Security
Products Group and was responsible for the development of NetScreen's entire
product line (ASICs, HW, SW) for its firewall, IPSec and SSL virtual private
network (VPN) and Intrusion Detection and Prevention technologies and Anti-Virus/Threat-Prevention
solutions. Before joining NetScreen, Anson served as vice president and general
manager of Cisco's Network Management and Services Technology Group and was
responsible for Cisco's Policy Networking and Network Management architecture,
products, solutions and partnerships.
Katherine Jen
Managing Partner, AsiaTech Management
A seasoned investment executive with over 20 years of experience, Katherine
founded AsiaTech in 1997. She has substantial experience in general business
finance, deal structuring, and venture capital funding. Katherine was a pioneer
in the Taiwan venture business. She played a key role in setting up Taiwan's
first six venture funds and also helped start Taiwan's successful semiconductor
industry. Katherine was the Director and Deputy Executive Secretary of the
Development Fund of the Taiwanese government for 7 years. In addition to serving
on IntruGuard's board, Katherine currently sits on the board of NetScreen Technologies,
Inc., as well as on the boards of a number of private companies. Katherine
received her LLB from National Taiwan University.

Dr. Jelena Mirkovic
Celebrated DDoS Researcher
Dr. Mirkovic got her MS and PhD from UCLA, where she worked on several network security problems. She has broad research interests, spanning many areas of networking: security, privacy, routing, wireless and sensor networks, and peer-to-peer networks. Her current research is focused on several important network security problems: computer worms and viruses, denial-of-service attacks, and IP spoofing. Her seminal work has been published in a book titled: Internet Denial of Service: Attack and Defense Mechanisms by Prentice Hall.
