CertifiedMail Deploys IntruGuard Devices IG200 to Provide DDoS Mitigation to Further Secure its Secure Messaging System
CertifiedMail fortifies its secure messaging system with IntruGuard’s IG200 In-line Network Behavior Analysis (NBA) System to protect its customers from Distributed Denial of Service and other intrusions.
Sunnyvale, CA and Morristown, NJ, January 22, 2007 CertifiedMail, which enables organizations such as Salesforce.com, Rite-Aid, Sovereign Bank, and a large UK government agency to comply with privacy regulations as they apply to Internet communications, is deploying IntruGuard’s IG200 In-line NBA systems to strengthen its data centers.

The IG200/2000 products stand alone in their ability to fully and accurately protect a network from a number of flood-based intrusions. With a fully built-for-purpose design, the appliances can block attacks up to full duplex gigabit rates. Unlike other appliances, the speed and accuracy of IG200/2000 is unaffected by the severity of the attack. Accuracy is ensured through a highly granular inspection of millions of traffic parameters, not the dozens in other approaches. Automatic traffic learning and dynamic updates of these parameters further improves accuracy with competing designs demanding manual intervention.
